Costa Cruise Line
Costa has embraced its Italian heritage while expanding beyond traditional Mediterranean routes with significant investments in new ships and enhanced guest experiences. That being said, if you are taking a 7-night cruise on Costa to the Caribbean... just be prepared for a uniquely European approach to cruising :-). In all seriousness, Costa has several impressive new ships in their fleet and their focus on Italian-style hospitality and cuisine makes them a distinctive option that families and couples can enjoy together.
Onboarding
Our Costa Cruise Line admin must add you to our account manually. If you want to become an Costa advisor, please email advisor-success@famvia.com to receive an invite.
Commission
Costa Cruise Line pays commission on the cruise fare only. If your Guest adds beverage packages, shore excursions, or specialty dining, then you will earn commission on these as well. A major note here: Costa does not offer commission on port fees, taxes, pre-paid gratuities, or certain onboard purchases. There is also a specific amount of each cruise passenger called a "Service Charge" or "Administrative Fee". This amount can vary slightly but does impact the Gross Commission amount because it reduces the commissionable cruise fare.

Training & Benefits
Costa's training program has 5 levels to complete as an Agent. As with all other training courses, you must complete the levels to unlock benefits!
In order to qualify for benefits (including travel advisor rates), we recommend completing all levels as quickly as possible. Once you finish, you can begin to use travel partner rates. Note: Costa's Travel Advisor rates are not available on every sailing but do provide good discounts off of the normal rates when available. In general, you will have to wait ~4-6 months in order to get a discounted rate for any new ship.
