Disney Cruise Line
DCL is our favorite cruise line for families or even just a fun couples getaway over a weekend (though there are probably better cruises to choose from for a trip without kids). Highlights include 5 ships currently sailing with the Treasure coming in 2 months + the Destiny and Adventure coming in 2025. DCL offers sailings across the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Hawaii, Australia and even Southeast Asia. You can sail with a baby that is at least 6 months old, but really it's the kids clubs that set DCL apart. Our family is already Platinum and hopefully by 2030 we'll be Pearl!
Onboarding
Register yourself at DisneyTravelAgents.com using our Agency's CLIA # 00044490. Our Disney Admin will be able to accept your request to join our agency. If you are transferring from another agency, click "Update Agency Association" in the top menu and input our CLIA # there! Once approved by our Disney Admin, you will be able to start booking under our Agency.
Once you are registered on DTA, you will have access to book vacations for folks heading on DCL (along with all of the other Disney Destinations!).
Important Note: You must call the number below to be added to our Agency for DCL before your first cruise booking! You only have to do this before making your first cruise booking (not WDW or DL etc). Once you have called and are added, just log out / log in and your name will pop up. Just be sure to do this before you start a quote, otherwise you will have to start over.
Commission
Disney Cruise Line pays commission on the cruise fare only. If your Guest adds Vacation Protection Insurance, then you will earn commission on this as well. A major note here: DCL does not offer commission on port fees, taxes, pre-paid gratuities, port adventures etc. There is also a specific amount of each cruise passenger called a "NCF" or "Non-Commissionable Fare". This amount can vary slightly but does impact the Gross Commission amount because it brings down the commissionable cruise fare.
You will see the gross commission in the booking process + the agency confirmation email.

Training & Benefits
Be sure to complete your College of Disney Knowledge training on Disney Cruise Line (found under "Training and Benefits"). You will also have to pass an annual assessment each year to unlock that year's discounts across all of the different destinations Disney offers. From time to time, there are events that you may be eligible to attend to further your training at various ports.
Once you complete College of Disney Knowledge, you will be eligible for two types of fares: Space Available Rates and Travel Advisor Appreciation Rates. These 2 rates are found under Training and Benefits > Available Benefits. Click the Learn More button and you'll see a PDF to click. This PDF is usually updated every Wednesday. Note: you must have your own CLIA # which you will submit proof of through the DTA portal to verify eligibility for this offer. This applies to any benefit available on DTA.

What do you think Luiz?
The best cruise line for kids. Disney didn’t hold back on the pixie dust when it was time to build ships like the Disney Magic and Disney Wish. This cruise line isn’t cheap, but there is a lot to see and do, including awesome stage shows and restaurants based on Frozen, Aladdin and Moana.
How do I transfer a booking or placeholder to myself?
Send an email to transfer@famvia.com with the First and Last Name of your guest and their email address. We will send a form for e-sign to you and the guest to fill out. Then all you need to do is submit the complete PDF to the email address shown on the file and Disney's central ops will get it transferred within 10 days.
NOTE!!!! We only have 30 days from the time of booking to submit the transfer so go-go-go!!! This includes the ORIGINAL date of the placeholder, not the cruise they want to book.
NOTE!!!! The reservation cannot be paid in full.
Can you use a placeholder on a maiden voyage?
Maiden voyages and other select sailings are black out sailings and cannot be used with a placeholder or receive the 10% discount. And as a reminder, you cannot get 10% off a Concierge stateroom with a placeholder BUT you can use the placeholder as the initial deposit.
