Viking Cruise Line
When you think "river cruises" you are 99% of the time going to be thinking about Viking Cruise Line! They offer fantastic all-inclusive pricing and routes that cater to young and old alike. In fact, Viking has multiple boats with family cabins and multiple sailings specifically designated for families. They can be a bit ornery to deal with at times and their website was designed for 80 year olds... but it's worth it because the commissions are solid. They also offers TONS of itineraries across their 30+ boats.
Onboarding
My Viking Journey is where you'll begin and to get started, use Famvia Travel's CLIA # 00044490. Create your account there and be sure to select that you are a "Hosted Agent" since you are an Independent Contractor under our umbrella.
Commission
Viking Cruises pays commission on the cruise fare only. If your Guest adds Vacation Protection Insurance, then you will earn commission on this as well. A major note here: Viking does not offer commission on port fees, taxes, pre-paid gratuities, excursions etc. There is also a specific amount of each cruise passenger called a "NCF" or "Non-Commissionable Fare". This amount can vary slightly but does impact the Gross Commission amount because it brings down the commissionable cruise fare.
You will see the gross commission in the booking process + the agency confirmation email.

Training & Benefits
The Viking Travel Academy has all of the info needed to get you up to speed on the Viking brand. They also offer $100 for every booking you make within 30 days of you completing the course. Such a great incentive! So, I would suggest lining up a booking then going through the training so you can maximize this incentive.
That's on top of all discounts you'll get on personal travel as well such as preferred rates, onboard perks and more.
