Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World is where most folks go when they want to "do Disney". It is the most requested vacation type we see currently of all theme parks put together! While Disney has announced some cool stuff coming, most of the attention is geared towards DCL. The coming launch of Epic Universe probably puts a lot of pressure on them too and we're expecting to see cool new lands and concepts like Cars and Indiana Jones come to WDW over the next few years. Disney is also doing some 'interesting' experiments wrt to pricing and Lightning Lanes. Just something to think about when talking through the planning stages with your guests. I think Disney has a bright future ahead and we go multiple times a year to hang out at a resort and go ride rides and hang out at our favorite restaurants. It's the most magical place on earth for a reason! (and the golf courses are pretty dope).
Onboarding
Register yourself at DisneyTravelAgents.com using our Agency's CLIA # 00044490. Our Disney Admin will be able to accept your request to join our agency. If you are transferring from another agency, click "Update Agency Association" in the top menu and input our CLIA # there! Once approved by our Disney Admin, you will be able to start booking under our Agency.
Once you are registered on DTA, you will have access to book vacations for folks heading to WDW (along with all of the other Disney Destinations!).
Commission
Disney has different calculations for each component of a vacation which can range from 3% for Florida Resident tickets up to 10% for packages, hotel rooms and VIP tours. Always remember that Disney does not pay any commission on tickets for 1-2 day (even as part of a package), any Annual Passes or Annual Passholder discounted tickets.
If you have a question about a particular product, you can view exact commission details in order to calculate your commissions on DTA website here. Note: if you are booking a Room Only, you will not see the commission amount on the confirmation email -or- on DTA's booking process. You can calculate the commission on a Room Only booking by multiplying 10% * the Room Cost (no taxes).

Training & Benefits
Be sure to complete your College of Disney Knowledge training on Walt Disney World Resort (found under "Training and Benefits"). You will also have to pass an annual assessment each year to unlock that year's discounts across all of the different destinations Disney offers. From time to time, there are on-property events that you may be eligible to attend to further your training.
Once you complete College of Disney Knowledge, you will be eligible for discounted stays at Disney World and a 50% discount on a single 1-10 Day Park Hopper Ticket! Note: you can only stay on-property using a discounted rate once per calendar year AND you must have your own CLIA # which you will submit proof of through the DTA portal to verify eligibility for this offer. This applies to any benefit available on DTA.

What’s there to say about it? This is one of the best destinations in the world, for kids, teenagers, adults, dogs, aliens and whatever else. Disney World is all about fun. With multiple theme parks and hundreds of different rides, you will have trouble making a top ten list of your favorite attractions. This is, without a doubt, the Happiest Place on Earth.
How do I transfer a booking to myself?
Send an email to transfer@famvia.com with the First and Last Name of your guest and their email address. We will send a form for e-sign to you and the guest to fill out. Then all you need to do is submit the complete PDF to the email address shown on the file and Disney's central ops will get it transferred within 10 days.
NOTE!!!! We only have 30 days from the time of booking to submit the transfer so go-go-go!!! This includes the ORIGINAL date of the placeholder, not the cruise they want to book.
NOTE!!!! The reservation cannot be paid in full.
I've been invited to go on a FAM. What next?
First off, congrats! That's a great honor. We will have some paperwork for you to sign before you go. Here's how you'll get info from Disney prior to your FAM:
- 21 days prior to tour > You're invited!
- 14 days prior to tour > Know Before You Go email will be sent to you.
- 7 days prior to tour > Pre-call for all participants (you must attend this!!)
